A clear policy with no fine print: everything about paying and refunds on Serverk, for game servers and bots.
1 Currency
All prices are shown in the currency you select from those we support, and the amount displayed at checkout is the amount charged.
We may offer other currencies and payment providers based on your country in the future.
2 Monthly billing
The service is prepaid: each month equals 30 days starting the moment you pay, and you choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Extensions stack on top of your remaining time, and if you extend a server or bot after its time has run out, the new time starts from the payment date.
While your subscription is active, you extend it at the lower of today's price and what you pay now, so a price rise never reaches you. A plan change, or an extension after your time has run out, is at today's price.
3 Hourly billing for game servers
Some game servers are also sold by the hour: you buy a pack of hours for one server, counted to the second only while the server runs, and startup isn't counted. The hourly rate is the monthly price divided by 150, rounded up, and every purchase makes all your remaining hours valid for 365 days.
Hours never turn into money or months, and never move to another server. When they run out, your time ends as it does on monthly billing.
Bots are sold by the month only, with no hour packs.
4 No auto-renewal
We do not store your payment method for automatic charges and we never renew on your behalf. When the time ends, the service stops, with no surprise charges.
5 Plan changes
An upgrade to a bigger plan is paid and applies once the payment settles. A move to a smaller plan applies at renewal, and we never pay money back for a plan change.
On hourly billing, a plan change is free, needs the server stopped, and converts your remaining hours at the two plans' rates.
6 Failed payments
If a payment fails you are not charged anything, and you can retry right away.
7 14-day money-back guarantee
The first server or bot you buy with a payment on your account is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Within 14 days of that payment you may request the full amount back from the panel, our team returns it to the same payment method, and the server or bot together with its files and backups is deleted.
The guarantee is used once per account, not once per server or bot. It covers that first server or bot only, and it is waived on it by any other payment on it, such as an extension, a plan change or a paid game change, because paid time after it is not refundable. If the purchase was a pack of hours, the guarantee ends once its hours have been used.
A payment we refunded on our own, such as a duplicate charge or a failed setup, doesn't count as your first purchase, so the guarantee stays for what you buy next.
The free trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. A server or bot that started as a free trial isn't covered by the guarantee, even after you pay to keep it, because that payment is an extension.
8 What is never refundable
Renewals and extensions, any server or bot after the first, plan upgrades, and game changes are not refundable.
Changing the game on a server never opens a new money-back window: a game change is the alternative to a refund, not a refund. A free game change keeps an existing window, and a paid one ends it, as an extension does.
9 Automatic refunds
If your payment completes for an order that was already canceled (for example, canceled while you were completing bank verification), the full amount is automatically refunded to the same payment method.
The same applies when setup fails on our side and we cannot deliver the server or bot: the payment is returned in full without you asking for it.
10 Integrity refunds
If a payment reaches us twice, or for an amount that does not match what you approved, or for a server or bot that no longer exists or can no longer be delivered, we refund it in full on our own initiative and you do not need to contact us.
11 How a refund is returned
Every refund is the full amount of one payment, never part of it. It returns to the same payment method used for the payment; we cannot send it anywhere else. A credit note is issued against the refunded invoice and appears in your billing page.
Refunding the payment that bought a server or bot ends its service. Refunding the payment for a plan or game change only cancels that change.
12 Compensation
When we compensate you, it is in days added to your server or bot, or hours on hourly billing, never in money.
13 Suspension and deletion
When your time ends the server or bot stops immediately, your data is kept for seven days during which you can download it or extend, and after that it is permanently deleted. On a free trial this period is one day.
