Three ways to move
Pick the one that fits the size of what you are moving.
Upload an archive from the panel
Fastest for a world or a small folder
- Zip your old server's files on your computer.
- Open your server with us and go to the Files tab.
- Press Upload, pick the zip file, and wait for it to finish.
- Click the file, choose Extract, and pick the folder you want.
- Restart the server so it reads the new files.
Move over SFTP
For modpacks and large folders
- In the Files tab press the SFTP button and create a password.
- Open FileZilla or WinSCP and connect on port 2022.
- Drag your folders from your computer to the server; an interrupted upload resumes.
- Restart the server once the transfer is done.

Can I move only my world and nothing else?
Yes. Upload the world folder on its own and extract it in place; the rest of the server's settings stay as they are.
How long does a migration take?
It depends on the size of your files and your upload speed. A small world takes minutes, a full modpack takes longer. Your server with us stays up the whole time and only stops for the final restart.
Do mods and plugins come with me?
They do. Upload the mods or plugins folder as it is, and keep the same game version and server type so they load. On Minecraft you can then install anything missing from the mod catalog in the panel.
What if my files are larger than my plan's disk?
Your disk in the Files tab and over SFTP is the same disk your plan gives you. Delete the files and old backups you do not need, or upgrade the plan from your server page and carry on.
