Question 1

My server runs fine on my side but shows as offline here. Why?

Accepted Answer

Because we probe from outside, exactly like your friends do. If it runs for you but never answers us, the router probably isn't forwarding the port, or your provider has you behind CGNAT. Open the port checker and it will tell you which one it is.

Question 2

What changes between Java and Bedrock here?

Accepted Answer

Java runs on TCP with 25565 as the default port; Bedrock runs on UDP with 19132. Pick the edition your server actually runs, otherwise a healthy server reads as offline.

Question 3

Why do I get the same result when I check again?

Accepted Answer

We keep each address's result for one minute so we don't overload other people's servers. Wait a minute and the check runs fresh.
